The tomato pie that I won at the eWomenNetwork Charlotte meeting on 7/7/2011 was delicious. It served for a few meals and greatly enjoyed. I highly recommend it. It is a small meal by itself or a great fillin.

I absolutely love the Southern Gourmet. Crystal and Randy are so friendly and always try to welcome their customers and make them feel at home. I love the fact their food is healthy and delicious! I especially love the Spinach herb shrimp wrap with sauteed vegetables and hummus and a side of their homemade salt and pepper tortilla chips - it's amazing....If you love healthy, delicious food you have to try the Southern Gourmet, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent choices make this place a no brainer for lunch. Here you get a menu with plenty of flavor without any typical chain restaurant faux food. A great spot to stop for worry free lunch. I have attended a few events where SOGO has done the catering and I was impressed.

The food is served up with a smile from the wonderful owners, and the dishes are exceptional! They take traditional southern dishes & fill them with the best ingredients and flavors. Their home made desserts are amazing, and take out entrees start at $3.99 for Mexican Lazagna, and other goodies as well. Their Morehead coffee is delicious, and you can purchase gift items as well. A gem along Monroe Road.‎
